What Is Oil-Resistant Painted Steel Plate?

Oil-resistant color-coated steel is a new functional material from Wanzhi Steel. It’s an upgraded version of color-coated steel designed specifically for kitchen and bathroom appliances. Coated with a specially formulated coating, it’s smooth, grease-resistant, graffiti-resistant, and easy to clean. Core mechanism: physical protection and passive repellency.

Low Surface Energy (“Lotus Effect”)

Ordinary pre-painted steel surfaces have high surface energy, while oil-repellent surfaces have low surface energy. They have a weak attraction to liquids, much like water droplets on a lotus leaf: oil droplets bead up on the surface rather than spreading and clinging.

Easy Cleaning

Hydrophobic surface. When cleaning graffiti and oil stains with a damp cloth, water quickly diffuses beneath the stain and removes it, eliminating the need for harsh detergents.
